New Video from Becky: A Cozy Creative Visit

There is something so lovely about seeing a creative project come to life in someone else’s hands. Today I wanted to share Becky’s newest YouTube video, where she brings her own beautiful style, ideas, and creative energy to the craft table.

I always enjoy seeing how different makers interpret a collection or project. Sometimes it is the colours they choose, sometimes it is the little finishing touches, and sometimes it is simply the way they explain their process that gives you a fresh idea for your own crafting time.

If you are looking for a little inspiration, a cozy creative break, or just a few minutes to sit with a cup of tea and watch something pretty being made, this is a lovely one to enjoy.

Be sure to visit Becky’s channel, watch the full video, and leave her a little love while you are there. Creative encouragement means so much, especially when someone has taken the time to film, edit, and share their work with the rest of us.

Thank you, Becky, for sharing your creativity with us.

My Christmas Gift List: Trophy Wife Aprons

Image
As you know I love all things vintage and rarely do I fall in love with something this cute and trendy. It does have the vintage vibe since it is an apron...but let me tell you...these are certainly not your Grandma's apron. Not mine anyway. They are so cute you will want to get one for all the women on your Christmas List. Emmanuella is a true artist with her sewing designs. Hi everyone, my name is Emmanuella Koenig with Trophy-Wife Aprons. I started to sew as a teenager on my mom's sewing machine. I bought my very first portable sewing machine at 21 years old. I felt like a queen with my new toy. I worked in an office up to few years ago and made all my clothes. Fabric was less costly then. I have 2 sons which sometimes, as you know, can take-up quite a bit of my free time. I have the best husband in the world... sorry ladies, he is mine and all mine! I love wearing aprons and because it was impossible to find nice ones out there, I decided to make my own...

FabScraps Design Team Unboxing: Holly Jolly Christmas & All Aboard Collections

Image
Hi everyone! I am so excited to finally share my latest design team package from FabScraps. I may have been a little "negligent" on my recent project wrap-ups, but I promise the wait was worth it! I had to improvise a bit with a steak knife to get into this box (don't tell my kids!), but inside was an absolute papercrafting treasure. A Holly Jolly Christmas 🎄 First up is the Holly Jolly Christmas Collection . If you love traditional reds and greens but want that vintage flair, this is for you. Some of my favorite bits include: The "Chipboard" Goodies: Adorable reindeer, snowflakes, and "Joy to the World" die cuts. The Ultimate Cheat Code: I am obsessed with the "cut-apart" sheets. They make creating Christmas cards so easy—it’s almost like cheating! Stocking Stencil: There’s a clever envelope stencil with a stocking detail that I can't wait to show you in a technique video soon. All Aboard for Nautical Inspiration ⚓ Next, we dived in...

My Grandma's Teacups: Turn your Cricut Explore into a Paper Doll Cutter

Making Prima Julie Nutting Doll Stamps Easier with Cricut Cut Files (No More Fussy Cutting!) Why this game-changing tutorial is getting crafter clicks worldwide So it’s no secret that I am totally crazy about Prima Marketing’s Julie Nutting Dolls Stamps . I mean — I talk about them a lot… okay, really, really a lot. But they bring me such joy! They’re whimsical, expressive, and perfect for cards, scrapbooks, tags, journal layouts, planner spreads… You name it. But not everyone shares my undying love for fussy cutting all those tiny layers. Why This Matters: The Pain Point Every Crafter Knows Some of my crafty friends were less than thrilled about cutting out the myriad tiny pieces that make these dolls come to life. They liked the look of the finished product, but the process? Not so much. I get it — spending time with small, fiddly pieces isn’t everyone’s idea of creative zen. And let me confess something: that diminished my joy a bit. I wanted everyone to love them as much...
