FabScraps Design Team Unboxing: Holly Jolly Christmas & All Aboard Collections

Hi everyone! I am so excited to finally share my latest design team package from FabScraps. I may have been a little "negligent" on my recent project wrap-ups, but I promise the wait was worth it! I had to improvise a bit with a steak knife to get into this box (don't tell my kids!), but inside was an absolute papercrafting treasure.

A Holly Jolly Christmas 🎄

First up is the Holly Jolly Christmas Collection. If you love traditional reds and greens but want that vintage flair, this is for you. Some of my favorite bits include:

  • The "Chipboard" Goodies: Adorable reindeer, snowflakes, and "Joy to the World" die cuts.

  • The Ultimate Cheat Code: I am obsessed with the "cut-apart" sheets. They make creating Christmas cards so easy—it’s almost like cheating!

  • Stocking Stencil: There’s a clever envelope stencil with a stocking detail that I can't wait to show you in a technique video soon.

All Aboard for Nautical Inspiration ⚓

Next, we dived into the All Aboard Collection. What I love most about this nautical set is the color palette. Instead of the typical harsh navy and bright red, it features soft blues and pinks that feel so sophisticated.

  • The "Ship's Wheel" Album: I showed a peek at a chipboard flip-up album that is perfect for those cruise photos or summer vacation memories.

  • Vibrant Woodgrains: The papers feature these stunning, vibrant woodgrain patterns that look so real on camera.

I also picked up some gorgeous layering stamps that look like roses and poppies, so stay tuned for a separate video where we play with those textures!

What should I make first? I have so many ideas swirling around, but I’d love to hear from you. Do you want to see a card-making session with the Christmas cut-aparts, or a layout for the nautical collection? Let me know in the comments below!
