The Rogue’s Troublesome Bride is a beautifully satisfying, 5-star conclusion to Jayne Rivers’s Unconventional Brides series and delivers everything a Regency romance lover could hope for. 

Nicholas’s character growth

Nicholas’s inner conflict between upholding his family’s expectations and pursuing his own happiness creates a compelling emotional core for the novel.Earlier in the series, he appeared to be a selfish rake, but this book reframes that perception as readers see how much of his behavior has been shaped by his determination to protect his mother’s secret.
