The setting of the grotto adds lovely atmosphere, and both characters grow authentically through their shared vulnerability. Jarrett balances sweet moments with just enough steam to satisfy.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I craved a touch more external conflict to raise the stakes. But honestly? Sometimes you just want this kind of gentle, character-focused romance—and Jarrett delivers beautifully.
