Rolling with it

Hey guys, I am so sorry that I have been neglecting the blog this week, although those reborn dolls were incredible weren't they. My mind has been focused this week on getting my store all packed up again to take to the Melrose Craft Sale. It is my favourite sale of the year. I never sell much but I enjoy sitting and chatting with all the people from my area that stop in. There is a comradery at that sale that I have not seen anywhere else. Many of the vendors have been there for over 20 years. They know each other's kids, grandkids and great grandkids in some cases. That is a pretty special environment to get the privilege to be apart of.

Do you ever just get wrapped up in the nostalgia. I love hearing all of their stories. In case you are feeling reminiscent while I am away, check out my vintage elements board to get inspired to create something vintage.

I promise I will try to take some pictures in case you can't stop by. If you get a chance though you should come down and enjoy the show for yourself. There are such talented artists and crafters there.

Wish me luck. I have to drive my daughter to Kingston in the morning as she broke her knee yesterday and she needs to see a specialist. Then I have to rush back home and get ready to set up the show before 3. Last year I did not get there until 3:30 as my little guy got kicked out of school that day and the principal wanted to discuss the behaviour. Everyone better behave this time or they will be grounded forever.

Have a wonderful weekend and I will post more often next week I promise.

Take care.
